CSV to Excel Converter
Turn CSV data into a downloadable Excel workbook (.xlsx), using the first row as column headers or treating every row as data. Conversion runs in your browser.
🔒 Your CSV data is processed in this browser, not uploaded to DataFrog.
An Excel workbook (.xlsx) will be generated and downloaded.
How to convert CSV to Excel
- Paste your CSV text or choose a local CSV file.
- Choose the field delimiter used in your data and indicate whether the first row contains headers.
- Select Convert to Excel. Review the result, then copy it or download the converted file.
What happens to your data?
The conversion runs in your browser. CSV fields enclosed in double quotes are parsed, including commas inside quoted values and escaped double quotes. Check the output before using it in another application, especially when the CSV contains unusual line breaks, duplicate column names, or values that require a specific data type.
CSV conversion tips
Make sure the delimiter matches your source file. If the first row is actual data rather than column names, turn off the header option. Keep a copy of the original CSV so you can compare the converted output and confirm that all rows and columns were preserved.
